Rotary Club of



Our motto is "Service Above Self" and our over 150 members live this every day. We are proud to be the oldest service organization in Fort Lauderdale, established in 1922.

Service Above Self

The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale consists of business and community leaders coming together to help grow the Fort Lauderdale community. We serve the community in many ways including:

  • Awarding over $2,000,000 in college scholarships to deserving local students.

  • Hurricane Irma Relief Flight to bring much needed supplies to Key West.

  • Providing the gift of mobility to people throughout the world through our partnership with the Wheelchair Foundation.

  • Service projects throughout Broward County including neighborhood cleanup and beautification.

  • The annual holiday season toy drive to provide gifts to sick and needy children.

  • Turkeys Take Flight annual delivery of Thanksgiving meals to needy families in Immokalee, Florida.

  • Annual Thanksgiving meals distributed to 750 needy families in Fort Lauderdale. 

  • Partnering with Challenge Air to provide the gift of a private plane ride for disabled children and youth.

  • Funding for the construction and operation of water wells in rural, underprivileged schools in South Africa in desperate need of water and clean sanitation.

  • Funding for the purchase and maintenance of portable water filtration system, primarily for rural, underprivileged schools in Kenya.

  • Support for Fort Lauderdale Reads- a children’s literacy program which teaches children to read. 

  • Support for the Rotary International Foundation which helps to make lives better in our community and around the world.

The Rotary Club meets Every Wednesday at noon (except the last Wednesday of the month) at the Global Events Center at 416 NE 1st Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida (2nd Floor).  Come join us and see how you can become involved!
